Dawn's Story

Life After high school I went to the University of North Texas in Denton where I had an absolute blast and met my best friends and my husband of 4 years. I majored in English with a minor in Sec. Ed. and graduated in 1998. Adam, my husband, and I moved to California in 2000 where I have worked at Jordan Middle School in Burbank teaching 7th and 8th grade English for the last 4 years. I love my job and most especially I love running the drama program at the school. I have directed five productions and look forward to next year's. Adam is a drummer working in many various projects in L.A., and we also have three cats: Jules, Dar, and Bella. I love children and would eventually like to have them, but I am comfortable waiting for a few more years. My long-term...Expand for more
goals are to backpack across Europe, obtain a master's degree in English, and finish reading my book collection! I am looking forward to the reunion in July with my classmates to see how their lives have turned out. College Ah, college. Where I let down my hair and made freakin' awesome friends. Danny, Ben, Rick, Barb, Robert, Amanda, Mary, Carrie, Kim, Umber, Matt, Jiffy, John, Rio, Dave, Adam B., Joelle, and many others who came in long enough to make an impression and then carried on with their own lives. But the most important, my love, my best friend, my soulmate- my Adam! I earned my degree and took some great classes- yo, Dr. Spiller! Dr. Pettit! Dr. Blaine! Y'all taught me so much. I can't even tell you. I was sad to graduate. Someday. . .
