Dawn's Story
Life
After graduating from Midwestern State, I taught at Notre Dame for 4 years, then I moved to Albuquerque, NM to teach for one year; during that time I married my boyfriend of 6 years, Doug Trainer(Rider grad. '86) in December 1995. In 1996 I moved to Washington state following Doug with his Intel career, then he helped get me in the door to Intel, of which I worked for them for 6 years as a technician at first then as a highly successful Training Specialist as we moved to Chandler,AZ, where my son, Noah was born in 1999. We lived there for 4+ years. I lost my mom in October of 2001, then my career path changed in January of 2002 when we moved to...Expand for more
Portland, OR. My job with Intel didn't transfer when my husband took a new job shortly after getting his masters degree at ASU. I have since been a personal trainer for 24 hour fitness(1 year gig-2003-2004) and had a beautiful little girl, Hannah in 2004. I now look after my kids and enjoy watching them grow up. I am still very athletic. I play competitive volleyball and softball. I touch a basketball every now and then. We plan on staying here in Oregon. When you have the beach and the mountains to look forward to, why leave! It's absolutely beautiful here.
