Dawn's Story
I have been married to Rick Groth happily foe 23 years. We have 2 children, Shawn and Nicole. Both are doing really well for themselves, both are local and working in the fields that make them happy. We were blessed with a beautiful granddaughter who will be 6 on Sept 24. We lost my mom Momorial Day Weekend 2015. I am still working to accept the loss. ut I had stage IV ovarian cancer. I had chemo and surgery and in December of '15 I was told I was in remission. This only lasted till March 2016. I had to have 4 liters of fluid drained, it was also infected with the cancer cells. I am once again going through chemo therapy every Friday. I have good days and bad.
I want all of my female classmates to know that they need to be checked, this cannot be detected without anotice internal exam. If you have your ovaries you need to continue with your yearly exams!
