Dawnette Smith:  

As some of you may remember, I was in a real bad car accident our Senior year, which has left me disabled and unable to work a normal job. It really sucks. I married Sam Smith, who also went to Downey, Class of 1988, in June 1998. We have three beautiful children, one girl and two boys. Samantha (18 years old), Jeffery (16 years old), and Patrick (15 years old). Things didn't work out for Sam and I and we are currently going through a divorce. Samantha lives with me. Samantha is my future veterinarian. I homeschooled her from her 7th grade year up until she graduated high school in May 2009. She was suppose to graduate in 2009, but she graduated her Junior year, one year early, with high honors. She is currently getting ready to start college in Sacramento to become a Veterinary Assistant. Once she becomes a Vet. Asst. she will be going to work in a Vet. office, and then to UC Davis to become a Veterinarian. She has a lot of years and hard work ahead of her, but she is a very hard worker and is an extremely dedicated young lady, I know she will pursue her goals and dreams and she will go very far in lif...Expand for more
