Dayron's Story

Workplace I began my career in law-enforcement in a civilian status as a clerk in the Identification Bureau of the Flint (MI)Police Dept in 1955. In 1961 I was inducted into the US Army, returning to work at the Flint PD in 1963. I retired in 1981 after obtaining the rank of Supt. of Records and Identification. t. in 1982 as a dispatcher, promoted to Administrative Ass't to the Chief of Police and retiring in 1998. Military I was inducted into the US Army in Sept of 1961 - assigned to the 5th Psychological Warfare of the 7th Army in Stuttgart Germany after finishing military school at the US Army Intelligence Center in Fort Holibird (Baltimore) MD. I was discharged in 1963.
