DeAnna's Story

The first question people ask is: what became of you? I became a world traveler and a university professor. My memories of university study are vivid: my BA, M.S. and doctorate. But my memories of high school are quite vague. It was a time of cliques and I was not in one. I excelled at university and became who I am today. I've travelled 28 per cent of the world mostly through my work and the friends I make along the way. Currently, I live in Europe most of the year. What I remember most about high school is telling a teacher I wanted to teach. The teacher said I was "too smart to teach." I still wonder about that. My life is circuitous. I had numerous professions and ended up doing what I wanted to do in the beginning: teach. However, I only teach university students. I could not fathom having to deal with parents. I sincerely doubt many people remember me. I wasn't a cheerleader. I didn't go to high school athletic games. I was the last to be chosen for any team in physical education. y degrees. I like working. I'm a trained journalist, public relations professional, marketing researcher, mentor and muse. I care about human and animal rights. I am solidly opposed to human trafficking and domestic abuse. I have lived an exciting life and been places some people would never go. I've learned a lot along the path. However, I am best at helping people and animals. I'm extremely flexible and multi-cultural. I travel and relocate as easily as I breathe. I love cats, theatre, reading, music (especially jazz), cafes, long conversations about meaningful subjects, film, art museums, forums and presentations. I view myself as a "world citizen." We are all connected. Obviously, I have a holistic view of the world. One can not live in isolation. Copyright law involves intangible, intellectual property. It is often complicated and can be interpreted in different ways by different individuals. I question the "rules and regulations" of this site. That said, I am not upgrading as I feel the service is not associated with the school.

"#7dayphotochallenge Day 6/7 - Seven Days - Seven Black and White photos of your life. No people. No faces. No explanation." OK. I'll play.
Seven Black and White photos of your life. No people. No faces. No explanation."
Another black and white entry. I entered late so I won't have the required number of photos if the contest ends today.
Since people are branching out with their black and white photos, I thought to do the same.
