Dean's Story
Life
Did the Navy thing for ten years and decided it was no longer for me...
I am currently a Firefighter/Paramedic for Uncle Sam working aboard MCAS Cherry Point in North Carolina. Been doing that for 11 years now...
School
I was that strange kid that didn't get alot of attention. I hung out with my friends, (Chuck, Pat, Dale, Mark, Derrick and mainly the folks down in AG) and didn't do a whole lot in school. I was, and to a point still am a loner.

Workplace
Um.... I guess I already covered this part...
But I do enjoy my life and feel I am an actual contributar to society. Who would have thought that if you remember me from H.S????
Military
Let's see.
1988 - Graduated from H.S and left for Orlando the next day.
1988 - Left Orlando and went to Great Lakes for GMG "A...Expand for more
" school. Had a few problems and ended up doing ATD instead.
1988 - Arrived at BUDS in December with orders for class 160, 11 stress fractures later and ended up med rolling out of class 164.
1989 - ARCO ARDM-5 at Sub Base San Diego.
1992 - Assigned to Fire Dept NAS/NAF Adak, AK. Spent most of my time up at NSGA in the Fire station or at the med clininc with Doc Hieghthouse,& Doc Rogers.
1995 - HM "A" school in San Diego followed by FMF at Camp Pendelton.
1995 - MCAS Cherry Point as a Hospitalman 3rd class. Cherry Pt Naval Hospital. Did a little time on the ward (Hated it) and most of my time in EMS where I went to night school to get my EMT - Paramedic.
1998 - Ended my Naval career. Now work for Uncle Sam as a Firefighter/Medic. Still at MCAS Cherry Point but now as a civilian.
