Deanna's Story

Graduated 1969 as the youngest girl in class. Moved many places. Worked over the years, mostly office, some electronics & engineering. Very good with computers. Was in the Air Force, did Federal Civil Service. Over 200hr of College. Almost finished my BS Business Administration. Last 5 classes were cancelled for my school bill to finish.. I'm on social security now. Still have aspirations to finish my engineering degree. Have to finish my other one first. Don't smoke, drink or do drugs- never have, never will. I'm a country/mountain gal. Still in good health and have a will to live and enjoy life as best I can. Go to church when I can. Married (4x, 3 dead). Still believe ...Expand for more
in marriage, but my heart & emotions are very guarded. I have 2 children & 8 grandchildren. I like to travel. Still have old-fashioned ideals, but have become sort of updated thanks to my kids. Still play violin, piano, and sing. Many years ago there was a class reunion, but I did not get my notice for 3yr after the date. I was listed on the missing person list. I just laughed because I am very much alive. We only had a graduating class of 110, over 1/2 of them were lost to Vietnam war and general public introduction of drugs. 25 were known alive at the time, the rest of us listed as missing, including me. I have no idea how many are left, but it would be nice to find out.
