Deanna's Story
Life
Hey everyone! Hope all is well! Well, let's see. The summer after graduation, I had a car accident. My car was demolished, and I had to get a full time job to pay for my new car and the insurance. Then, I found myself sucked into the work force...or...the "real world". I have been stuck working ever since. But, I still smile all the time. That is what is important to me. I guess the old saying of "never let 'em see you sweat" has been my motto. I work as an emergency dispatcher and a document processor. I still sing all of the time, but usually only in church. Yes, I'm still going to church all of the time, because it has been the one constant in my life that has not changed. So many things around me...Expand for more
have changed, but it has remained faithful. I had a heart attack at the age of 23 for no reason. The doctor's can't even figure out why it happened to me. They put a stint inside the left main artery to my heart. But, I still smile. Sometimes things happen that you don't understand, but I know that they also happen for a reason. I'm still here and plan on making the most out of what I have and who I am.
Workplace
All I ever do is work! I am an emergency dispatcher and a document processor. I have held the same job since September of 1998. At first I only saw myself doing this until I could get "caught up" on my bills, but now I believe that this might just be the career, not job, that I love the most.
