Deanna's Story
Life
After teaching over 30 years, my husband Richard and I are both retired in Mesa, Arizona, and enjoying travels and family. I look forward to working on the next Ganesha High School Class of 1961 reunion. Andy is working in northern California, and Wendy married in 1904 and is working on her doctorate at UCR. We enjoy e-mail messages and also enjoy visitors coming to Arizona. We are just discovering our new state and using the Phoenix airport!

ing the first girls on campus. We started our own sorority for the girls off campus although Mary and I lived on campus one quarter. I loved my English teachers, Dr. Siegel and Mrs. Harmon. I loved doing well in mathematics and enjoyed my engineer friends. Then I moved away Humboldt State and felt very lonesome until I ran into other Southern California girls. We moved out of the dorms and enjoyed apartment life. The next fall I got serious and student taught and graduated in January. I continued post graduate work at Humboldt, then earned my Master's degree at University of La Verne while teaching in Guantanamo Bay. I've taken many courses through extensions since then and always enjoy learning.
