Deb's Story
Right now Tom and I live in Abilene Texas where everything is big and I mean BIG. Tom (44 Years this past May) is a Transportation Planner for the MPO(Federal Transportation Planner for the Government). I took early retirement from El Paso County Dept. of Human Services. Colorado to move here. We have two Grandchildren Donavan who just turned 7 and Renee who just turned 5. Josh our son lives in Davenport Iowa and when we do retire we will move up to the land of cold and snow from a land of hotter than heck.
The worse shock of my life was getting a letter from Uncle Sam with my Medicare Card. THEY made a big mistake I'm only 21 ...Expand for more
in my head. I'm not going to be 65. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, I have a appointment with the counsel on aging in Nov. to pick plan B C etc.
We have two cats and in a couple of months we will have a puppy after Tom and I decide what breed. I want a Golden Retriever and he wants a Standard Poodle like our Maggie we had to have put down, she was 14. We will see who wins this battle.
I do a lot of sewing and cross stitch. I make quilts which all Grandma's do.
This is the story of my life. P.S. I miss our Grandbabies, there is nothing like holding your first grandson when Donavan was only 15 minutes old. The world changed for Tom and I.
