Life
What can I say? Divorced - bad choices, 4 kids later ( its all good). Update: Changed jobs again. Now working for Dept of National Defence as a Case Manager for Ill and Injured soldiers. I enjoy this very much as besides infectious disease "bugs", counselling has been my other bent. It is nice to be called Ma"am by some of the soldiers even though I am only a civilian and not an officer. I hope this is the last stop in my career and wish I could retire. Then would like to move to West Coast or south.
Update:: Wasn’t the last stop- went to work for Veterans Affairs for 2.5 years and now retired since April 2021.
Children all grown up and I am now a grandma of 2 boys.
I know people may have thought I was a princess, but very far from that....Expand for more
I'm a very strong person - fall down, dust myself off and get up again.. Still spend a lot of my time baking and cooking for my kids - one with mega allergies so have to bake and cook his stuff. That’s how I get to see them during Covid! Work out as much as I can at home but often injure my old bones and jo isn’t and then have to stop for a while each time. Still like hanging with friends out for dinners and wine. Love rock concerts, theatre, ballet. Still like my heavy metal rock noise- few in my age group do i see. I realize now that I was the square peg in the round hole but I think that is a good thing and wouldn't have it any other way.
