Deb's Story
year 32 in the land of aloha...
just found out my old police uniforms are valuable.....evidently they dont make them like they used to do...
I suppose wool in paradise does not make intuitive sense, it dries quickly after getting rained on...
which happens alot...fortunately rain is matched with anuenue the frequent rainbow...
I didnt get rid of them when I retired 15 years ago , now I can sell them to the highest bidder....
maybe the uniforms are even more amusing because Honolulu PD officers frequently appears on Hawaii 5-0...
after a 'short sweet' professor stint, Im switching to be an embedded civilian psychiatrist with the Army.....
my police career help make sense to me what its like to go to work everyday, not kno...Expand for more
wing if you will return in the evening...it helps make sense, however, what sense can one make of knowingly putting oneself in danger for the well being of other individuals?
working on research project with homeless individuals in Honolulu, developing scholarship around the complex issues of the homeless condition....
Visited Boston/South Lancaster this spring.....wow a novel place to grow up! I am so fortunate to have parents from the East Coast....before they moved west 2500 miles, which I replicated...ending up in the middle of the North Pacific....Lovely place to visit, dont know how to deal with the weather, it was below 40 in may! GASP!....the pine tress I used to climb grew a lot in the past 40 years
