Deb's Story
It's been an interesting journey so far - after graduation I married my high school guy and we were together 4 years with one son, parting quietly after realizing we really didn't have the same vision of the future. In 1975 I met my best friend and in 1976 we were married. We've moved 30 times over those years - Army hitches (him), Indian Health Services and travel nursing (me). We've lived in 9 states and Germany (twice). (Although we have managed to 'recycle' back to NH three times living in Dover, Strafford and now in Lisbon, NH (in the White Mountains near Littleton). iving in Portland, ME and the other a biologist turned high school math teach (just this year) who is living in an apartment at our home and working at Berlin HS. My son lives in Portsmouth and has our only grandchild thus far. I started nursing as a second career in the late 80's and am now working as a Nursing Supervisor at Vermont State Hospital in Waterbury and finishing my Master's degree. Just can't seem to stop working or going to school. My husband roasts gourmet coffee and is working on setting up our local operation. Anyway, the journey continues - what's up next? who knows but my guess is there's a warmer state in our future.
