Debbie's Story
Life
We now live in Texas, along the coast. My husband Jim works in Iraq. He has been there for over a year now. We have three grown daughters. We also have 8 grandchildren with one on the way as of Oct. 28 2005.
I spend a lot of time talking on the phone to my husband, daughters and their families. I have two Amazon Parrots and an outdoor cat for pets.
I also spend a lot of time on my computer and watching Law and Order and CSI.

We choose Texas because the attitudes are are friendly and peaceful.. The only thing I don't like is evacuating for hurricanes.. not fun!! The humidity is very high but it makes for beautiful green year round. Sure beats the hot dry summers of Calif. (I stay indoors when the heat and humidity gets too high!)
The winters are nice and mild.
