Debbie's Story
In April of 2002, I met my best friend on a blind date and married him just over a year later. We adopted our son isaac through the Foster Care system. The most wonderful thing is that he has curly hair and slate blue eyes just like my husband Greg. We hope to adopt his baby sister as soon as the State of Illinois has released her and terminated the parents rights. Hopefully by our next class reunion I will be the mother of 2. e collaborated on a song called The Christmas Card which was recorded by Mary Kate Bristow. Hopefully in the next few years we can finish what we have started and record a few more pieces. I also had the opportunity to play in a high level wind ensemble thah just finished it's inagural season with very high reviews. The group is called The Southern Indiana Wind Ensemble. There are several Bloomington North/I.U. Music School alumni playing in the group as well as some local professional musicians.
