Debbie's Story
Life
I was married to my husband Steve 1 month shy of 41 years, sadly he passed away on July 15, 2019 from prostrate cancer, he fought it for 8 years. We have 1 son, Brian, he is a pe teacher for Frederick county formally taught at a private school in Rockville. He also has been coaching JV basketball and baseball.
On February 25, 2020 I lost my Dad .
My mom had a stroke in September 2020 and is left with cognitive issues from that. My 4 sisters and I give her 24:/7 care. She is able to...Expand for more
eat and dress on her own we help with the meals and her meds. I tell you what I have been thru the past 4 years getting old sucks. Retire when you can and enjoy life while you are able to. UPDATE mom passed 4/25/22.
Good news my son is engaged and will be married June 2024.
I hope to retire by year end.
My motto is take one day at a time.
I am still a Property Manager in Bethesda. Thankfully I have my dog
Sasha to keep me company.
