Debbie's Story
Hi Everyone,
I met my first husband in August of '75 and were married in July of '77. Four years later we had our first child, Brian and two years after that we had our daughter, Amy. Both are graduates of SUNY Fredonia with Computer degrees. Brian is a programmer at Paychex and Amy is a computer consultant at E-Plus. Brian got married on September 18, 2009 to the most wonderful woman, Amanda who has her own band here in Rochester "Reviving Ivory". Her band is on Facebook if anyone is interested. Amy lives in the Park Avenue area and has a boyfriend, Rob. Her first love is her Boston Terrier named Annabelle.
I should have been a school teacher and now I am . . . I have a classroom on wheels. Yes, I am a school bus driver for Webster, driving over 100 Klem North and Klem South Elementary students to and from school everyday. Never thought in a million years that this would be the job I'd be doing, but I just love it. It all started 14 years ago ...Expand for more
when my sister, Cathy talked me into it. It is also the place where I met my second husband, Don Dippel who was the Garage Foreman. Another shocking discovery I made about myself was how much fun it is to work at the same company with my husband. We have been married for 2 1/2 wonderful years. Can you believe that we invited all the kids from my bus to our wedding and they even sang "Going To The Chapel" during the ceremony. I also have to admit that I am a 315er. We live in Walworth on 40 acres of land that my husband grew up on. He collects old cars and tractors. A little trivia for you, Don drove stock car at Spencer Speedway against Dean Beh from our graduating class. I was determined to someday marry whichever of these two drivers won the most stock car races and track championships. When it comes to sports, I tend to favor the winners!!!!! (I had a crush on Dean in 10th grade)
I am truly happy and love life, just like I did back in '75.
