Debbie's Story
Life
I am now living in Idaho and have been here for about 6½ yrs. I have one daughter and three step-sons, ages ranging from 26 to 31. Have been married for 21½ yrs. I am active in city politics and am on the city council. I also volunteer as an ambulance driver for our local ambulance, work at the library, and the president of our local ladies Syringa Homemakers Club (community based, non-profit). So I do have a tendency to be a bit busy (more than I should be for someone who is supposed to be retired). My husband is retired from GTE but as you can see we really aren't that retired. He is an EMT for our ambulance and is applying for our local deputy sheriff job that just opened up (he is presently a reserve level...Expand for more

Our kids are doing well...
Oldest son - Richard lives in Long Beach, married, one son, and works for the City of Long Beach as a Traffic Cop.
Middle son - Jeff lives in Clovis, single, and works for Fresno Fire Dept.
Youngest son - Jason lives in Las Vegas, married, one on the way, and is a sports trainer.
Daughter - Soni is the youngest, lives at home, works as medical assistant for a clinic with 3 doctors.
No pets except for our daughters 2 cats.
We lived in Barrow, Alaska for about 9 yrs. and in Kennewick, WA before that for about 7. I haven't lived in so. california for quite some time now and enjoy being out of the rat race and all the traffic. I still have family there so we do come down from time to time..
