Debbie's Story
Graduated, got married, moved to the city, had a baby...then moved around the country for the next year. Moved to Miami in 74. Started in 9-1-1 in 1976 and have been in that field for the last way to many years. I got some college under my belt, but never had a chance to finish...it's on my to do list.
I watched my daughter grow, she has given me three beautiful grand daughters.
I was married for 12 years and discovered that you can never change someone if they don't want to change. Don't think it was a waste though, I learned a lot, and the hard times made me who I am.
I am still very independant, and rebellious, live my life my way. I have been married to my soulmate for the last 12 years...he has all the same qualities...independant, rebellious and lives his life his way...thank God we are o...Expand for more

He is a professional musician, plays the guitar and some kick a## blues. My pleasure in life is going to hear him play after a hard day at work.
Like I said I work in 9-1-1...20 years in Miami and now the last 10 years in Central Florida...Ocala to be exact. The Horse capital of the US. Very Centereach-ish. I am now a supervisor, trainer and instructor for the County Fire Department, and will be retiring in 3 1/2 years. Looking forward to going out on the road and becoming a roadie in my husband's band.
God has been good to me. I have a job that I love, married to a man that I love, and that loves me. Happy with who I am. But one day you turn around and realize you have lost touch with those you grew up with. Take a chance to get it touch and reconnect some old friendships
