Debi's Story

Life Don't Blink -- time goes by too fast. youtube.com/watch?v=p4ySSg4QG8g Since high school, I married, lived in Hawaii and California for a while and finally settled down for a few years in Virginia (25). I have 2 Children, 2 Grand children. My husband retired in 2002 and we moved to Oklahoma. I am still working to keep him in the lifestyle he has become accustomed to. I am a Paramedic, and I love it. I tried the retirement gig, and I am just not ready for it, so I went back to work. I thought I was ready to quit after working the Pentagon on 9-11, but no...still love what I do. I just needed some time off. I love my Grand babies. Being Nana is the bomb. All the hugs and kisses, get them dirty and send them home. yard. They are 1 and 2 right now. The joy of my life. Take them to the zoo, or just a walk in the stroller. They love to play outside. The 2 year old has to call his Nana to say hello and tell me about his day. We read tons of books, over and over, but before long they won't want to cuddle in my lap. My children grew up to be great people. I wish I could visit my son more, he is too far away. He lives in Michigan, and I swear he was going to be a professional student. My daughter served in the Army, was in Iraq for a year during the war. She got out and married and gave me those darling babies. I delivered my grandson, and helped deliver my grand daughter. They transferred to Oklahoma, so now I get to see them all the time. Life is short. Live, love and enjoy it. We never know what tomorrow will bring. Hope you enjoy the song
