I attended Modesto Jr College and transferred to California State University, Sacramento to earn my Bachelor of Arts degree and elementary teaching credential. I taught school for 11 years and went back to school to get my School Counseling Credential. I was a school counselor for another 10 years, working at both the elementary and high school level. t, Dave Phippen, and we will celebrate our 45 wedding anniversary this year. We had 3 children, twin girls and a boy. And now we have 6 amazing grandchildren that are the light of our lives. Dave still farms almonds and processes them to be shipped to other countries. Life has been good to us and we feel blessed. It sure doesn’t feel as though we have been out of high school this many years!!
