Life My husband and I, and our three kids live in Northern Virginia, in the suburbs outside the Washington DC beltway. I am a nurse, in the last several years a lactation consultant working a few hours a week at two local hospitals, one of which has a birth rate of over 10,700 babies a year, Whew! That keeps me running at work. I have also run a weekly breastfeeding moms group for many years. My husband is an aerospace engineer(USNA'77), retired Navy after 20 years. Specializing in the area of advanced concepts space based systems, he works with related companies and agencies in and around the DC area. Our daughter is in college in the area, majoring in international government and political systems. In high school she was very studious, debate team captain and such. Yes, thankfully she took after her dad that way! She was also a thespian. We enjoyed many plays over the years with her acting ie; "Puck" in "A Midsummers Night's Dream" at the Folger Shakespeare Theater in DC, ...and directing ie; she won a regional award for her directing of the play "Flowers for Algernon".
