Debbie's Story

Life My husband, Steve and I have two wonderful sons Michael 34 and Russell, 31, a beautiful daughter-in-law Carly 34 (Michael’s wife) and 2 beautiful grandsons: Brennan who is 8 and 5 year old Evan. They live across the street from us which is heaven on earth! Michael works with my husband Steve in our family businesses and Russell will join them soon. He had serious health issues over the past 9 years that resulted in a total pancreatectomy with an auto islet cell transplant at the University of Minnesota but is almost 100% recovered and has resumed his degree program at the University of Florida. Michael and Carly are also Gators....Michael has an undergrad degree in Marketing and completed Law School there as well. Carly has a duel degree in Translation Studies and international journalism. . After college, Steve and I married, and I moved to Gulfport, Mississippi where I have been for almost 37 years. e, mom and Mooty and stay very busy with my family and volunteer work. I am Past President of the PTA at all three of the boy's schools,Past President of our Synagogue, Garden Club Past President, Board of the local museum, Treasurer of the Cub Scout Pack, and other local charities and organizations. And now I’m busy again at my grandbabies’s school. I also help take care of my mother-in-law.....pills, bills and ills! Before Daddy passed away, he and my mom lived in Gulfport. My mom moved to live with my sister, Barbara and her husband in New Orleans, so we are all close together. Steve works with his family in a steel and real estate business that is 70 years old. He has a large family and we do a lot together. In fact we all live in the same neighborhood! We love to travel and spend as much time as possible together. School I have only wonderful memories of my days at PHS!! The friendships I made have stood the test of time.
