Hello! I’m retired from the field of education, where I spent 14 years as an elementary teacher and 23 years as a regional Educational Technology Director that provided a variety of technology services to the 30 school districts in SW Washington. I retired in 2017 and went on to help my oldest son get his financial planning business off the ground. I learned a ton about investments during the two years I worked with him, and then fully retired in 2019. As I look back on my work years, I can honestly say that I was one of the lucky members of the workforce that loved my jobs! Very grateful for that. And now I’m loving retirement because I have time to play! I live in Vancouver, WA with Roxy, my spunky little miniature pinscher. She’s a busy body and SHE owns ME. She makes me laugh, and I enjoy training her, playing with her and walking her. I want to set up a little obstacle course for her to learn to use. I just need to figure out how to engineer that!
