Debbie's Story

Ok, so here's the short version. After high school I went to University of Maryland and majored in Accounting. Went to work for Maryland National Bank in Baltimore and met my future husband (who was ending his first marriage at the time). Left there and went to work at Bell Atlantic (old C&P telephone). Had my first son Michael in 1987. Worked at Bell Atlantic until 1991 when my husband got a new job at First Michigan Bank in Holland Michigan. Had 4 more kids there (3 girls and 1 boy), then moved to Naperville Illinois in 1998 (my husband got another new job). Stayed there until 2005 when my husband got ANOTHER job that moved us to Birmingham Alabama. My husband got a new job in 2007 and is working in Maryland and traveling back to Bham alternate weekends. I have a 22 year old who is currently working as a "chef" at Hooters and going to the University of Montevallo in Montevallo, Alabama. My oldest daughter just tur...Expand for more
ned 18 and is at school at Warren Wilson College in Asheville, North Carolina. I have a 15 year old daughter who is a sophomore in high school and 13 year old boy/girl twins in 8th grade. We have two beautiful doggies. We love where we live and I probably won't move from here until I get all these kids out of the house. My dad passed away in 1995 but my mom is still living in our house in Langley Park. My brother John moved in with her and takes very good care of her. My brother Mike is living in New Jersey, Ann in Bowie, Sue in Brookeville, Jim in Stevensville, and Harry in Arnold. We visit Maryland at least 3 times a year. My kids are very active and have me busy every weekend. We were in to competitive cheer for the last couple years. Right now we've got hockey, math team, scholar's bowl, swim team, technical theater, and church choir. It's a busy life but never dull. Would love to hear from my old classmates!
