Debbie's Story

After high school, I moved to Boise, ID, attended Boise State University, married and had 2 children - Katelyn in 1984 and Ryan in 1985. In 1987, we moved to the Dallas/Fort Worth area and Texas is still home for me. I divorced in 1995, but remarried in 1998. My husband and I raise Registered Texas Longhorns. Between the two of us, we have 5 children and 9 grandchildren, 2 dogs, a...Expand for more
horses, some barn cats and the cows, of course. I've worked for a non-profit credit counseling agency since 1997. Currently, my position is as a Certified Consumer Credit Counselor and HUD Certified Housing Counselor. The work is rewarding especially when you can help someone save their home from foreclosure or help someone get back on track financially after a major life event.
