Workplace I actually married into my business. My husband is a theatrical lighting designer that owned his own company when I married him. Since we relocated back to KY, 20 years ago, I have taken a more than active role in the business. I not only handle the bookkeeping, I also manage sales, write quotes and do presentations. etched me in ways I never thought possible...I could barely sew an apron in Home Ec, but my husband always encouraged me and had faith in my abilities, so that was a great motivator! I have always been a people person, so I love that aspect of the business. I have met so many great people and got to travel to so many places. Even on the days I hate it, I wouldn't trade the experience and wouldn't give it up.
