Debbie's Story
Hello my long lost friends. I married a man from Memphis, Tennessee and moved here in 1979. We have 4 children and 4 grandchildren ( the joy of our lives). I was a stay-at-home Mom until my last child started first grade and then I became a Realtor. I had quite a successful career as a Realtor, but became ill with lyme disease in 1991. That was quite a trip!!! Two years of IV's, but I survived!! In early January of 1995, my youngest son was a passenger in a car that was hit by a train and nearly died. He sustained a very severe traumatic brain injury. I stopped my career and began to care for him. We did all the traditional therapy and then travelled the country to find the best we could for him. He is an amazing miracle today. Not only did he live, he walks and talks. He is partially paralyzed on one side, so I still stay home with him.

te children's books and publish them. That is what I am involved with now. I still have my Broker's license in Real Estate and actually have my own company, but have not been active for a while.
My children's books are found at
a website that is my name. They won't let you put an actual website name on here.
Take a look and be sure to comment and let me know what you think.
Although I have lived in Tennessee all my adult life, I still have family in the Thompson area and actually a nephew who teaches there so I keep up.
I would love to hear from old friends and see what everyone else is doing.
UPDATE: I am up and running with my real estate company now. Still doing the children's books as well. My son now has his driver's license, giving me the freedom to do a little more work. So, anyone moving to the Memphis area...give me a call!!!! Bronson Realty, Germantown, Tennessee..
