Debbie's Story
Some of us never leave.....I thought Ihad graduated from GEHS and yet here I still am!!! In 1988 I graduated high school with all of my friends and took off to attend college at Marshall University. I completed my BA degree in Counseling & Rehabiilitation in 1992 (yes, amazingly enough in 4 years...but of course had fun too), I completed my MA and EdS degrees in 1994 and 1997 from Marshall University Graduate College in School Counseling and, after moving around a bit, moved back to Greenbrier County and was ...Expand for more

I have two daughters Savannah, age 10 and Sarah Delaney, age 8. (By the way, for you Jimmy Buffett fans out there, you may notice a theme with my daughters' names....)
I now have many of our '88 classmates children in school...WOW now I'm really feelin old! HA! Actually it's kinda cool. For someone that couldn't wait to get out of here, I now realize how fortunate I am to be back and to be able to raise my daughters here! They are looking forward to being spartans themselves in a few years!
