Life
I know it's hard for all you buffs to believe, but yes, I graduated from KU and taught elementary school for 8 years in the Shawnee Mission School District! How about that! I started a program called Parents As Teachers in the Olathe School District in 1989 and have worked in it ever since. I never took school seriously when I attended Southeast but worked really hard in college. Obviously!:) It's hard for me to believe at times! I married my husband, Rick, in 1982 and we have 2 children ages 22 & 16. My daughter attends KU (will graduate this year! yeah!!!) and my son is obviously in High School. ts. My daughter played competitive softball for many years-even 1 year in college. She is currently a Brigade Cheerleader for the KCBrigade. My son plays baseball & LaCrosse. Both of them keep me busy. I still enjoy going out and having fun. I exercise daily with my walking partner and have for the last 20 years. I probably would have benefitted from that in High School but was too busy having a good time to notice! I'd love to hear from some of you. High School seems a world away. I couldn't come to the reunion, unfortunately-my Mom has cancer and I was helping her in NC. I continue to enjoy life and take each day at a time. Keep smiling!
