Debbie's Story
I got married in 1972 and moved to Clearwater, Florida to work as an Interior Design Assistant. My daughter, Keli was born there in 1974. In 1975 I had my second daughter, Jami in Beaver Falls. I went to Penn State Beaver Campus for two years and earned three awards: Education, Psychology, and Educational Psychology. (all A's and one B) Then I attended Pitt for 2 years, graduating Magna cum laude with a degrees in Elementary Education and Secondary English. I was divorced in 1987 and moved to Frederick, MD to teach middle school Language Arts and Social Studies.
I have been teaching here for 20+ years. My daughters have given me 6 beautiful grandchildren - 4 girls and 2 boys.

s training and dance. I tried my hand at owning my own catering business and have worked as a home stager.
I like to travel in the states and Canada, work on my genealogy, study local history, cook, bake, garden, bike, hike, and attend all of the sports events my grandbabies are in!
Since my daughters' families are multi-racial, my parents "disowned us all." I came back to Beaver County, after 20 years, in the fall of 2008 at the request of my parents. My daughters' brought their families and everyone met the cousins, etc. It was the greatest gift my Mom and Dad have ever given to me!
When I grow up I want to join the Peace Corp and work in a third world country OR work for the Southern Poverty Law Center in Montgomery, Alabama.
