Debbie's Story
Life
Since we graduated in 1973, I have gone through many change in my life. I got married in 1981, and remained so until 1999. I have one child, my beautiful 5 year old daughter, Jessica Leilani.Although I spent the majority of my adult life working in the restaurant industry, I changed careers in 1997 after the birth of my daughter. I am currently employed at Suncorp Corporate Credit Union as a member services rep. I have sole custody of my child, so am very busy keeping hearth and home together. We are members of the Society For Creative Anachronism, which is a group that recreates the middle ages as they should have been. You may have seen some of our members at the rennassaince festival or other functions such as people's fair and the highland games. I would enjoy touching base with old classmates, email me and I will answer.
This photo I have posted is of my little angel, taken on Easter Sunday Morning, 2000.UPDATE: I returned to working in the food and beverage industry shortly before Christmas,2001.I am currently working nights at the Grizzly Rose.As for my little princess,she loves school!She is in Kindergarten at Baker Elemetary School in Adams Dist 50 and was named student of the month for January.She's bright,happy and a real handful somedays,how those of you with more than one child do it is beyond me.She wears me out on a daily basis,but is the absolute best and finest person in my life.I'm very proud of her,as if you couldn't tell!

ruly wish I'd have had the opportunity with for my dad. I still live in the family home, my brother Art and I bought the other 3 girls out from the estate. My Jessi is now 12 and in middle school. She's enrolled in the International Baccalaureate program at Clear Lake. She's becoming a lovely young lady. I never did remarry, once was enough for me. Now I work for a national restaurant company in their Catering/Claims Reporting Center in Golden. Jessi has aspirations of attending CSU to become a vetrinarian. We have a good life. My brother stepped up when Jessi was born and has helped me raise her. She considers him her father figure. My ex was a real putz and has not been a part of our lives since the time she was newborn. My sister Laurie and I are very close and for all the fighting we did as kids we have become best friends. She had cancer surgery two years ago, pretty scary time. She's doing really well now though, happily married and living up in Coal Creek Canyon with two grandchildren.

UPDATE January 2014:
Well, never say never. LOL! I've been married for three years now to a really great guy. Jessica will graduate this spring and has received an academic scholarship to CU. She also received offers from several other colleges including all four military academies. She stayed in the IB program all through high school, ( at Westy) and will graduate in the top 10% of her class. Dave and I are really proud of her as is the rest of the family. Not bad for a kid raised by a single mom, you know. Yes, this is her graduation photo. Stunningly beautiful in my opinion.
