Debbie's Story
Life
We live where there are sandy beaches, palm trees, and cold drinks. Married over 40 years, two kids, six grandchildren, and 2 great-grands. We all live in the sunny south 30 minutes from the beach, 4 hours from the mountains, and 10 minutes from the grands. We are fortunate that our children are our best friends. Together we enjoy Disney World, holidays, and I enjoy Saturday mornings cruising the yard sales for treasures with the kids. My husband and I love Sunday mornings in the Cobra with the top down. Our daughter is finishing her Ph.D in Earth and Planetary Science and working on the Mars program. Wow! Our son owns his own commu...Expand for more

Workplace
I own an HR consulting/recruiting/career consulting firm with offices in three states. Owning and running a business is not easy but we have been lucky. I have a fantastic team, a great work environment, and everyone is eating. When you are a consultant you eat what you kill. If I don't hunt, nobody eats. We have been nominated for Business of the Quarter by the Chamber of Commerce. I brought a lot of my management style to my company from my experiences at Cummins.
I never dreamed I would be an entrepreneur with a million dollar company. I love what I do!
