Deb's Story
Some things about me...
I am playing music, traveling, and enjoying life! Throughout the years, I've found out many people didn't know I was interested in music. Most people probably didn't think I was interested in much of anything...I remember myself as a sullen, unhappy teenager with no motivation just waiting to get out of high school. Now I know that all teenagers feel that way hahaha!
I'm a published songwriter, play in a band, and have 2 independent CD releases. I've also co-produced an Indie film called, "Into The Light" which was submitted to the Sundance Film Festival for the 2007 festival. It premiered Feb 2008 in LA. I'm currently working with Broadway in Chicago. My last play was the "Sparrow" which closed Dec 2007. My new play is called, "Knute Rockne, All American" and the world premier was April 10, 2008. After it¿s run in Indiana, it will open in Chi...Expand for more
cago in 2009 and then on to New York. I'm also a member of NARAS & ASCAP and own an independent music company. The most important things in my life are God, my family, my friends, and my 2 new doggies, Manny and Eddie...everything else is just an additional blessing or distraction...depending on how you look at things.
In 2006, I lost my older brother, Steve to cancer. He was 51 and left behind his wife, Rene, his 3 kids, and his unborn granddaughter, Lilian. I also lost my 2 best friends for the last 15 years, Teddy and Bailey. Everyone who knows me knows how much I loved my dogs.
I hope everyone is safe, healthy, and happy! Life is so very short. Enjoy it. Live every minute as one that takes your breath away. I would enjoy hearing from anyone who remembers me. People are what makes life important!
Trivia: I went to grade school with our governor, Rod Blagojevich.
