Debbie's Story
After graduation I went to school at Ricks College (now BYUI). I got my associates in Accounting. I got married in 1972. My husband is John and together we had 7 children 6 girls and 1 boy. No is not the last, he is the middle child. I have lived in Idaho the entire time. We have 27 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Most are girls. I have worked at a car dealership as a secretary and title clerk. I worked for the Department of Corrections as a Financial Technician. arting to work outside the home I manufactured sportswear for 5 years. It was my own company. I had to quit because I could not get it out of my home. I work for Washington Group International as a supervisor in their bookkeeping department. Then went to work for the Idaho Industrial Commission. I took care of my granddaughter until I got a job with the Nampa School District substituting. I only did middle school and high school. It was a good job but now I am a paraprofessional in a ERR room.(special needs) After next school year I hope to retire.
