Debbie's Story
So where to start... it's hard to believe that it's been more than 20 years since we all graduated! Yikes!
After HS I got my BS, then my Masters. I've been working in HR ever since. Made some bad relationship choices over the years, but learned from them (like how to run fast in the opposite direction).
In HS Mark (Blackwell) and I dated on and off, but I was young and stupid and let him slip through my fingers. Then one day in 2006 (while I was in the process of ending my first marriage) I got an e-mail from him through classmates.com... ya I know, I was shocked too!!! It had been almost 17 years since I had seen him. WOW! He asked me out to lunch and that was it, we both looked different, but it was like a day hadn't gone by. It was the best 6 hour lunch I'd ever had... can't believe we didn'...Expand for more

So as fate would have it, timing really IS everything... I guess we both had a lot of growing up to do and time was what we needed. He asked me to marry him about two/three weeks later and I said hell yes! I wasn't gonna let him get away from me twice in one lifetime. We got married in June of 2007 and I can honestly say that I have finally found my happiness. Now I have 4 step-sons, all teenagers, they are too funny!
Still keep in touch on and off with Valerie (Vongrey) Valenzuela and Christine (Fernandes) Gonzales. They are both doing great!
I miss the old Blackford days, there were SO MANY great kids in our class! To whoever may read this, hope you're doing well and give me a shout out if you get a chance!
