Hello to All-It's Debbie Krupski. I don't know if any of you remember me(I hope some of you do). I am now HAPPILY divorced after being married 17 years to a fellow 1980 S.H.S. graduate-Dave K.(in our 1980 yearbook,his picture is right after mine). Life has been pretty tough for me lately, but I've learned to grin and bear it. I currently reside in Flint,MI. I have five wonderful kids: Christopher(18), Jonathan(15), Jessica(11), Jason(11), and Jennifer(8). My priority right now in life is to see that my kids stay happy, healthy, and emotionally "grounded". I'm trying to get myself financially back on track so that I can get my four youngest children living with me again.
My eldest son, Christopher, is serving in the Army(upon his request). I had to respect his wishes on this matter. Christopher wanted "out" of a life that has been causing him so much emotional upheaval in the last five years (which included the divorce). Christopher will obtain an excellent education, specialty training, benefits, discipline, and the ability to travel. The military can give/teach Christ...Expand for more
opher the fundamentals (unfortunately something I can't do for him at this time) in his life.
Christopher just contacted me last week from Fort Carson,CO to let me know he received Orders that he'll be going to Iraq this October (2006). I will fear for his life EVERY DAY until he's safely back in the States. I've learned that there is a price to be paid no matter what path in life we choose to take. I hope and pray that my four younger children look up to their older brother and see him as a POSITIVE ROLE MODEL, and follow his lead. All of my children have over-come so many obstacles in their youg lives, especially Christopher. He has over-come, accomplished, and achieved more in his 18 years, than I have in my 44 years. You HAVE TO be a parent to know how I'm feeling. I'm proud and priviledged to be the mother of five very special, talented, loving, and unique individuals. I do have to admit that my kids ROCK!!!
To ALL of you S.H.S. Alumni who are reading my BIO: I hope you take the least resistant path in life which finds you Happy, Healthy, Sane, and Abundantly Wealthy!!!
