Life It's great to be living in the Houston area after being gone so many years - who says you can't go home again? My life is calm (thank God) for the first time in ages - I work, I go to movies and concerts with friends and family, I enjoy lots of activities at my church and I adore my 4 grandsons (ages 15, 10, 3 and 1). School I remember high school as great fun - filled with wonderful teachers and friends. People I still remember and admire include Mrs. Armor (counselor), Mrs. Vinson (English teacher), Mr. Lackey (US History teacher), and of course, my mom - Thelma McCart, the school nurse. The happiest/craziest times I recall are having to swallow a bug because I was talking while at attention in drill team practice, not getting caught with 10 people in my Chevy trying a "chinese fire drill" at the light in front of Sears, and the exasperated look on my dad's face each time I asked him to take me to break up with a certain boy - who shall remain nameless (it's not safe to tell - yet!)
