After graduation I attended and graduated from Moline Public Hospital school of Radiologic Technology. I became engaged September 1965 to Jerry Elvert. He was drafted and served in Viet Nam and I was in training. We were married in September 1967. We had three children, all of whom live away from Iowa. 010 and I continue to miss him daily. I try to stay busy with volunteering at the Davenport Police Department, and at a food pantry.
I recently told a friend that I lead a simple life and I do, but not by choice. Jerry and I were always busy doing all sorts of things and rarely just stayed home. Funny how life can change so very fast.
