Debbie's Story
I have lived in Indiana since 1994 after being in Ohio from college days to marriage to motherhood. We moved to Fort Wayne for my career opportunity and my husband is now the one that commutes to his job!
I've been married to Dave, my college sweetheart, since 1977. He is a Elemenatry Phys Ed teacher in Van Wert, Ohio. We have two sons, 27 and 24; they are both out on their own so our nest is EMPTY! There's only the two dogs and a cat to keep us company - but we don't lack for things to do :)
I retired from commercial banking after over 28 years on August 1, 2008. I then took a month off before starting a new position as Director of Customer Relations and Marketing for a large not-for-profit agancy in Fort Wayne. ral community boards, serve as a Lunch Buddy for Big Brothers Big Sisters, and I'm an active member and mentor of the Junior League of Fort Wayne.
We don't make it back to upstate New York very often so I've only been to one Niskayuna reunion - our 20th. I hope someone will contact me in plenty of time for the next one - 40 years in 2012!!!???!!!
Dave and I have a better record for College of Wooster reunions since we live closer to there and we are looking forward to the 35th in 2011!
