Debbie's Story

I have no idea but I suppose I havent changed too much. Laughter is still #1 I always wanted to be a nurse when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were right. I love to go to warm beaches, mexico, caribbean or Hawaii. My son will attend Santa Monica College so I'll benefit from that! The wildest thing I ever did in school was to show up to English after my "friends" talked me into trying weed, omg! If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have coffee, diet coke, and laughter to be able to deal with the day-to-day. My hero would have to be my Mom, she was such a giver From Turlock I moved to 29 Palms because my X husband was in the Marines, ugh!!!! We came back to live in Turlock and that's where I stayed until about 4 years ago when my company moved to Woodland, so I moved there then hated it and ended up in Sacramento where I am now. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Judy Fortner, because she was such a kick to hang with. My favorite thing now is to drive myself down to Turlock to visit my new Grand daughter, in July I'll be doing the same thing for my new Grandson! My biggest surprise?? hmmmm i guess it would have to be tha...Expand for more
t I'm actually divorced but then I've been this way about 12 years, just don't see myself getting married again, yikes! I've learned from my boys that life really isn't that scarey. My oldest is just so brave and my youngest has become the same way, very proud of them both. To be truly happy.....wow! quite a question I guess I'd want to move to the caribbean because of their way of life, they just want to have fun all the time! Of course I'd miss my Grand children and my sons so i guess that's out! My current age is 48. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be dead. I was so completely wrong. Currently I am the Nat'l sales Manager for a Western Jewelry Mfg., been with them for 21 years now, funny I don't even like country music! ha ha I have no idea where my first crush is at this time. When my sons were younger I saw him coaching a little league team, had not changed much at all but I was still afraid to approach him.. My one do-over would to marry someone different but I'd still want the same kids. My first job was at Community Hospital, where I got paid 1.25 an hour to empty bed pans. What I remember most about it is the head nurse made me put dentures in a mans mouth who had just died..
