Debbray's Story
I was not a people person in school, tended to keep to myself because of things that happened to me in junior high with some classmates. I just wanted to get out into the world and show people who I really was. I should have become a secretary according to all those special tests we took throughout our school days, but instead I went to work in a nursing home right after school, working as a nurses aide. I continued on career until completing my nursing degree in 1983. I then worked as a nurse in nursing homes until 1990 when I moved over to high tech pediatric home care - taking care of kids who had major medical problems but did not request hospital support. I presently continue to work home health parttime and fulltime working with mentally disable adults teaching them to be as in...Expand for more
dependent as they can.
I did marry for about 7 months but it was a joke cause he used me to get his ex back. I miscarried at the later timeframe of the union. Never really persued a relationship after that. The only thing that leads one to know I was married is keeping his last name - I hated my maiden name with a passion. Far to many hurtful memories to keep it.
No kids, just all the kids I helped care for and the 42 adults that I presently am helping. They and my co-workers call me "Mama Montag"
Bought my first single family home in 2004 in Magna - cute little bungalow built in 1952 by the sellers father. I did about 20 searches and looked at over 50 homes - everytime I did a search the home always showed up. So I felt it was meant to be.
