Debby's Story

Scott (class of 1970) and I were married in July after graduation. We had a great time growing up and really getting to know each other and then started to have our children in 1976. We have one Son, Jason, 35 and our daughter, Brandi, 32. We all live in Seattle again after a long 16 year jaunt to live in Allen, Texas. But we got back here as fast as we could and Texas is just a blur! :-) Scott is a diabetic with complications and Texas was a blessing for him because we found a specialist that was a God Send! Things could be a lot worse if we hadn't met this man. Scott is now retired and looking forward to the day I will be able to retire. I have been working for a company in Seattle since we moved back called Quorum Review; they are an institutional review board. I am the executive assistant to the CEO and absolutely love my job! Which is a good thing because I may be here till I'm 80. We have two dogs; a 1 year ...Expand for more
old pitbull, Misha and a 2 year old long haired chihuahua, Samson. They are new to our family after we had to put to sleep our two beagles that were 17 years old this last month. :-( They are very much missed! But Samson and Misha keep us busy and happy. Scott has to keep me out of the shelter's because if I could, I would take them all home! Scott and I celebrated our 40th wedding aniversary this year and spent a week in Clear Lake, CA; we took Jason, Brandi. and a friiend of the family (Rich). The condo was beautiful and we couldn't have asked for more beautiful weather! We rode in a hot air balloon over Napa Valley, visited Alcatrez, rented a boat and seadoo and had a lot of fun on the lake. The guys were ecstatic about the fishing and we had a huge catfish fry one of our nights. I've gone on long enough; our 40th class reunion is coming up as all of you know and we hope to see you there. Take care, Debby (Jones)
