Hi Folks! Remember me? I was a bit of a nut in highschool. If you remember me at all, i imagine you'll remember that! I went from hippie to Jesus freak and joined a cult (local church) in 12th grade. Got married in 73, had 3 kids, left the cult in 79, went back to college (George Mason) and waited tables until 85 when i graduated with a degree in French and a minor in Spanish. Separated in 85 as well, divorced in 89 and then remarried. I'm still learning! I worked for a French company, translating/interpreting and writing proposals (ouch!). But my real loves are my kids, my animals, books, music. I love to dance and enjoy all kinds of music from the old rock to the new including Rage Against the Machine, Consolidated, Metallica, and other types too--Sheryl Crow, Tori...Expand for more
Amos, Melissa Etheridge. My big dream was to go underground after selling my homes--get some land and lots more animals, a massive library, and go off the grid, so to speak. Well, I did that (in TN) but went broke in the process, had to move to Augusta GA (god forgive and preserve me), where I wrote proposals for an emergency management software firm. Now I am divorced and iiving in Athens GA with my daughter. My father lived with us until his death this year on March 5.
I'd LOVE hope to hear from old friends--Martha Benson? Scott Murphy? Donnie Miller? Terry Hix and brothers? Debby Bowman? Scott Chessman? Mary Magushak (spelling?) Well--anyone who remembers me! There were so many of you...I'd love to know what you're doing these days, and what you remember of 68-72. Hope you're all well....
