Life
Hi all,
I'm living back in Maine, after having resided in Canada for 10 years...I do foster care for the state of Maine...I live in the sticks with 3 of my 8 yes!8 kids..4 birth, 4 adopted The oldest 5 are out on their own now. The oldest, a son, is 31, then I have 2 daughters, 29 and 26, I have two 19 and 1/2 year olds, one of each ( God they drive me crazy!!), then 2 more daughters,16(going on 30) and 14. I also have an 10 year old foster daughter who is the apple of my eye! I am sooooo looking forward to empty nest syndrome!!! I also have a beautiful grandson, Devon who's 5 years old and driving his mommy crazy just like she did to me! HE! HE! HE! Then I have two grand daughters, Emily is 3 and 1/2 and Riley Sree is 2 years old! See, there are wishes that DO come true!!! I just got divorced last summer after a 17 year hiatus on marriage LOL...Expand for more

Workplace
worked in a few mundane jobs before getting into banking in 1987... I loved the banking business, but when the savings and loan scandal went down, things became too stressful and I had to get out before going completely bonkers!!!Became a foster ( and adoptive ) parent in 1994...lets me help others while still being able to be there for my kids who are still at home, and for my older kids when they were teens..kept them out of trouble. I like what I'm doing now, and I think in the back of my mind always knew I'd end up doing something like this. I still take classes to keep me up to date on all the happenings and changes in the social service field, and I enjoy that too.
