Debi's Story
Hi everyone. It's been a long time since we've all seen each other and so many things have happened to us. I was married for 27 years before divorcing. We spent most of our marriage living in Moorpark and raising our two kids, Dawn & Brian. In 1996 we moved to El Dorado Hills in Northern California and then split up in 1999. I worked for the FBI for five years after graduation and prior to getting married. When my son was 5 I started working for the Moorpark Unified School District and was there for 10 years. In 1996 when we moved north I went to work for Packard Bell until they went out of business in 2000. In 2001 I came to work for the California Chamber of Commerce. I've been there for 9 years now and love it. I am the executive assistant to the president and ceo. In my position I get to meet really interesting people, including the Governor, legislators and dignitaries from other countries.

n up to be really nice people. My daughter Dawn is married and has two children. A son, Shawn, and a daughter, Evelyn. They are the light of my life! My son Brian has been in the military since graduating. He spent 7 years in the Marine Corps and then after being out for 2 years joined the Army. He was deloyed to Iraq for 15 months with the 101st Airborne (Iron Rakkasans) in 2007. In April of this year he transferred to the 2nd Infantry Division out of Ft. Lewis Washington (his grandfather's old unit). They will be deploying to Iraq in August. My folks moved to Northern California in 2004 and live close by.
I remarried in 2007 to a wonderful man who had been a friend for many years. Rick (another one) and I have been very happy these last two years and we look forward to many more. We live in a little town northeast of Sacramento called Loomis. It's an old agricultural town and was an integral part of the gold rush.
