Debi's Story
I went to UNM 1 year after graduation. The next year I moved to Northern CA to go to school 1 year and lived with my Aunt and Uncle. I never went back home much to my mothers dismay. I always loved CA and said I would live there one day and here I am 39 years later. I am married for 27 years, have 2 wonderful children now boy 24 and girl 21. No grandchildren thank goodness. We are on our second set of dogs... We have a nice house paid off where our kids grew up and another in the Mountains near Bear Valley ski resort. Our get-away. nytime we can. We have RV buddies that travel with us when they can. We also love to go to the lake and boat. We have a ski boat but no longer ski unless our kids come along. My husband retired after 30 years but still works casual at his old job. Extra money for our trips. I still work at Lockheed Martin for the last 29 years....soon I will retire but I managed to go part-time or 30 hrs. Love it. I have wonderful life and family. I would love to see some of you all again at a reunion. I never made any of the reunions yet and we are already at 40...where did the time go.
