Life
I hope this finds all in good spirits. After graduating, I joined the Army. I stayed in the Army for 12 years. I was stationed in Fort Lewis, WA and WHCA in D.C. I was fortunate enough to be able to travel to countries I might not have had the opportunity had I not joined the Army. I met my former and current husbands in the military and would not change any of it. I decided to end my career because there had to be one parent at home to raise my two boys due to everything going on in the world today. I miss the Army, but do not regret my decision. d love to add just one more to complete my family. I am currently living in Virginia and still employed by the military. I love everything about this area, except the daily commute to D.C. There is always something to do, plenty of zoos, museums and the like. I do miss home and like everyone else, was devastated at the sights I saw after the hurricane. Once my husband retires, we hope to settle in Florida, not too far from home.....but not too close =>. How ironic, the song Playground by ABC is playing on the music channel, does anyone else remember this song performed at one of the lip sync shows that used to go on at Biloxi High?
