Deborah's Story
Life
- Family left CA after HS graduation - moved to MN, graduated from U of MN (BA), then went to Ohio State for grad work in clinical psych (PhD). Lived in DC for awhile doing research, & a little bit in San Francisco, my favorite city, traveled, then moved back to MN, doing teaching & research. I'm still in the frozen northland, happily living with my 2 cats (I never married, much to my surprise). y twenties, but had forgotten all of it). I learned to sail, and to race, and love the challenge (most of the time), which it definitely is at this age (knees, courage, skills, strength - a sensible person would do something else, but I'm rather stubborn). I love remodeling, too - kind of a balance to academics, and traveling (but who doesn't?), particularly in the winter when it's below zero. An update...2012....I just retired from teaching, still finishing up some research, but expect to be truly retired by 2013...we'll see.
